Getting Sheep Shape by J.Y. Jones M.D.

Mission Work In Kenya

Nevada Desert Big Horn Sheep

Nevada Desert Bighorn Sheep Hunt

It took 25 years for me to draw a Nevada desert bighorn tag, and I filled it after five tough days of hunting in Unit 271. The ram was the second-best we saw (out of some 50 rams) and scored near 160. I was guided by Cary Jellison of G&J Outfitters, and he did an excellent job. The ram was the second-largest taken in the unit by 42 hunters over the past 6 years. It completes for me a long-awaited second Grand Slam. A great hunt! J.Y.

J.Y. Jones Armenia Trip

Armenia Hunting Trip

I’ll be returning for another try later this year. However, I did take a huge bezoar ibex, and a picture accompanies. Blessings to you! J.Y.
